Collaborative Game Lab

Focus on collaborative game design and development and discourse around collaboration and cooperation models. Games are complex interdisciplinary cultural artifacts and are often created through team based efforts merging many possible combinations of technical, formal conceptual skills and perspectives. Students work in teams and learn strategies and approaches to successful collaboration. Projects include developing and participating in workshops, working on a large collaborative group game project, and engaging with class guests through written interviews and writing.
