Video and Motion

Foundations of creating digital moving image and motion design works. Introduction of concepts that are integral for animation and motion graphics design. Students develop and present self-directed creative work through critiques. Encourages multidisciplinary visual thinking and communication. Examination of contemporary culture and history of moving images that integrate animation and video techniques. Exploration of industry-standard approaches to software and design and experimental methodology to establish a rich understanding of the complex and evolving environment in which artists and designers create digital moving image art.
