Clinical Internship: Integration

Supervised practicum experience within clinical setting as part of interdisciplinary health care team. Focus on application of theory in clinical setting and interpretation of assessment and diagnostic data for purpose of planning, implementing, and evaluating course of care for patients, both as individuals and cohorts. Students design and complete quality improvement project that contributes to unit’s goals and objectives. Students implement advanced-level assessment, health maintenance, and management of symptomatology across lifespan.
