Advanced Leadership and Role Integration

Leadership and management theories and models, resource allocation and management, delegation and teamwork, conflict resolution, healthy work environments, legal and ethical aspects of professional practice, evaluation of professional practice, patient safety and quality improvement, accreditation process for health care systems, and contemporary issues in workplace. Emphasis placed on integration of all professional role behaviors, application of research, evidence-based practice, and leadership-management of patient-centered care as transition is made from student role to that of practicing professional nurse. Focus placed on preparation for National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
