Topics are addressed through a combination of cases, articles, lectures, discussions, and exercises. Emphasis is place on understanding what makes boards effective, why some boards falter, and the steps that can be taken to ensure that the boards function effectively, knowledgeably, and ethically. Includes mock interview for practice in delivering a pitch and handling the questions often asked in a board interview.
