First in five-course clinical practica series. Prepares family advanced practice registered nursing students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary to assume the role of primary health-care provider for families and individual patients across lifespan at an appropriate entry level. Use of family-focused frameworks to care for those who experience common acute and chronic illness, developmental transitions, and health problems. Students complete minimum of 80 direct clinical hours.
