Doctor of Nursing Practice students integrate, synthesize, and apply key concepts in research and clinical practice introduced in previous coursework to the core components of the clinical prevention and population health framework. These components are evidence-based practice, clinical preventive service—health promotion, health systems and policy, and community aspects of practice. Emphasis on population health through a focus on current health issues.
