Research Design and Critique

Lecture, 90 minutes; discussion, 90 minutes. Complex research designs and analysis of multiple variables and research utilization. Emphasis on techniques for control of variables, data analysis, and interpretation of results. Focus on in-depth analysis of interrelationship of theoretical frameworks, design, sample selection, data collection instruments, and data analysis techniques. Content discussed in terms of clinical nursing research problems and application to clinical settings.
