Introduction to basic concepts and techniques of various spectral methods applied to solving partial differential equations. Particular emphasis on techniques of solving unsteady three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations.
Topics include spectral representation of functions, discrete Fourier transform, etc. Letter grading.
