Basic topics from numerical analysis having wide application in solution of practical engineering problems, computer arithmetic, and errors. Solution of linear and nonlinear systems. Algebraic eigenvalue problem. Least-square methods, numerical quadrature, and finite difference approximations. Numerical solution of initial and boundary value problems for ordinary and partial differential equations.
