Mathematics and Pedagogy for Teaching Secondary School Mathematics

Facilitates student development of the domains of mathematical knowledge for teaching high school mathematics including common, specialized, and horizon content knowledge as well as relationships between this knowledge and students, teaching, and curriculum. Focus on topics in trigonometry and geometry including circular functions; solving equations arising from circular functions; trigonometric identities; Euclidean, spherical, and hyperbolic geometries; plane transformations; congruence and similarity; group structure of transformations.
