Case-based analysis requiring students to apply material from course 106D to real-world problems regarding topics such as matching between medical residents and hospitals, matching between high school students and New York and Boston high schools, kidney transplants, course allocation in business schools, eBay auctions, and prediction markets. Hands-on data collection and problem solving and presentation of student analyses both orally and in writing.
