Nonlinear Dynamic Systems
Chemical Engineering · 4 units · Graduate courses (200-299)
(Same as Electrical and Computer Engineering M242A and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering M272A.) State-space techniques for studying solutions of time-invariant and time-varying nonlinear dynamic systems with emphasis on stability. Lyapunov theory (including converse theorems), invariance, center manifold theorem, input-to-state stability and small-gain theorem.
Letter grading.
