Designed for graduate students. Teams from course 223A refine projects with target goal of either clinical deployment or scientific publication. Teams present updates weekly and contribute to group discussions to help optimize algorithms and perform analyses that answer their research questions. Covers various topics related to translational research and publishing scientific articles including statistical hypothesis testing, scientific writing, and the peer review process. Teams produce a research article that can potentially be submitted to a scientific conference or journal.
