(Same as Public Policy M243 and Social Welfare M290U.) Designed for graduate students. Examination of role of U.S. housing policy and role of government agencies and community organizations. Is problem housing or economic development? Should interventions be directed toward inner city housing markets or through neighborhood strategies? What lessons can be learned from experiences of other countries?
