Focus on understanding and application of statistical tools for environmental datasets through close reading and discussion of modern and classic statistical and scientific papers. Topics may include Bayesian modeling, hypothesis testing, regression, causality, multidimensional data analysis, time series modeling, and extreme value analysis. Most papers focus on statistical approaches in climate science.
