Exposure to realistic statistical and scientific problems that appear in typical interactions between statisticians and researchers, with lectures centered on case studies presented by faculty members and invited speakers from business and academic fields. Applied regression analysis and design of experiments, together with basic statistical programs. Presentations and written reports required.
