Collaboration in Data Science

Students are prepared to solve real data-analysis problems for real community-based or campus-based clients. Students work in small groups with faculty member to explore and select a research data set, and ultimately frame research questions in statistical terms, create statistical models, analyze data, and report results. Weekly meetings in classroom setting to advance basic consulting skills, share experiences, exchange ideas, and frame compelling insights.
