Community Advocate Training

Students gain experience in real-world social work settings. Students gain understanding of the current agency-based organizations, policies, and practices of social work across selected populations within the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. Each group attends modules exploring key areas of social work practice. Covers training on cores issues such as child and elder abuse reporting, risk assessment, anti-racist practice and working with diverse populations.
