Community-Based Research II
Social Science · 4 units · Graduate courses (200-299)
Part two of two-part series. Students continue to learn and practice the principles, ethics, and methods of community-based research; and the place and purpose of scholarly inquiry. Students continue to develop projects in consultation with the instructor and peer reviewers. Work is divided fairly among team members with each team member contributing based on their skills and talents. Teams work closely with the instructor and people at the organization on all aspects of the research analysis and write-up. Focus on project management and writing of final report. Each team produces a report that describes the research project aims, design, data collection and analysis, results, and implications to be shared with the community organization.
