Community Internships: Impact of Religion in the Work World

Limited to juniors/seniors. Internship in corporate, governmental, or nonprofit setting coordinated through Center for Community Engagement. Provides theoretical, analytical, and experiential framework for understanding the many ways in which religion is manifest in the world of work. Religious traditions and values inspire individuals to choose professions, start organizations, and work in many different sectors. The impact of religion may be seen in personal choices, the way people behave as professionals, and the manner in which an institution and its systems are structured. Exploration of all of these issues and more. Individual contract with supervising faculty member required.
