Study bridges disciplines of design and development, preparing students to conceive, evaluate, and communicate real estate projects that integrate financial feasibility, design, market, and zoning/policy. Students learn to think like a designer and act like a developer, using design-thinking as a strategic tool in project conception and place-making. Study of urbanism, architecture, and site planning principles as applied to development feasibility and community context. Focus on team-based development and design studio project using a real-world site, culminating in a final presentation to a panel of practitioners.
