Introduction to materials, devices, and techniques of semiconductor-based qubit technology. Students choose total of 10 weeks of laboratory modules from among following list according to their interests and availability: semiconductor device processing and metrology; transmission electron microsocopy (TEM); pulsed control of NV- centers in diamond; quantum options and single photon interferometry; quantum key distribution and quantum random number generation; quantum zeno effects.
