Introduction to the Professional Workplace

Students are prepared to participate in a professional workspace. Development of soft skills including written and oral communications, empathetic listening, conflict resolution, goal-setting, strategic thinking, and self-awareness. Topics include career skills workshops (including difficult conversations and managing up, résumé and cover letter writing, and interviewing and networking skills), community impact training, and career paths training.
