(Same as African American Studies M240.) Designed for graduate students. Course aids mental health professionals and trainees in evaluation and treatment of African American families in terms of their cultural milieu, historical background, and economic status. Didactic presentations by instructors and invited guests form basis for supervised evaluation and case management with African American children and families.
