Multivariate Analysis with Latent Variables

Introduction to models and methods for analysis of data hypothesized to be generated by unmeasured latent variables, including latent variable analogues of traditional methods in multivariate analysis. Causal modeling: theory testing via analysis of moment structures. Measurement models such as confirmatory, higher-order, and structured-means factory analytic models. Structural equation models, including path and simultaneous equation models. Parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, and other statistical issues. Computer implementation. Applications.
