Designed for graduate students. Analysis, using behavioral systems approach, of basic motivated behavior such as feeding, drinking, foraging, and reproduction. Same approach also applied to phenomena such as acquired motivation, reinforcement, and drug addiction. Historical survey of behavioral analyses of motivation and goal-directed behavior.
