General introduction to human musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems and their function, with special emphasis on mechanical and physiological aspects of homeostasis and environmental interaction. Application of physical principles in selected areas of biomechanics, hemodynamics, ergonomics, orthopedics, and robotics.
