Evolution and Development of Auditory System

Discussion of specific topics related to evolution, embryology, morphogenesis, cytodifferentiation, and onset of function of auditory system, with special attention to centrifugal pathways. Emphasis on primary literature sources as well as current methodological approaches. Two-hour seminar presentation required for two units; seminar paper and two-hour seminar presentation required for four units.
