Comprehensive guide so students gain sufficient knowledge in conventional and state-of-art cytogenetic and genomic principles and techniques and their utility in clinical and research applications. Focus on relationship between various chromosomal and genomic abnormalities in humans as identified by basic and advanced technologies such as fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA), and next-generation sequencing (NGS). All aspects of molecular cytogenetics and cytogenomics through didactic teaching sessions, journal clubs, and interactive discussions.
