Periodontal Immunology

Students gain basic knowledge in immunology in periodontics and implant dentistry. Includes advanced knowledge and evidence-based in immunologic responses in many aspects of periodontics such as chronic and acute inflammation, cytokines/chemokines, and complement system differences of innate and adaptive immune responses. Students gain understanding of basic knowledge of periodontics in research and clinical sciences. Knowledge can be applied to research projects and improve critical thinking ability.
