First in three-course clinical practica series. Emphasis on foundational competence in comprehensive assessment and anticipatory guidance for pediatric patients and families to promote child wellness. Learning activities demonstrate the application and evaluation of evidence-based research and clinical guidelines in promotion of pediatric wellness. Students complete minimum of 80 direct clinical hours.
