Provides midshipmen with general military training and practical command and staff leadership experiences through classroom instruction and performance of various tasks and interactive processes within framework of organized midshipmen-run military unit, with oversight by active-duty military staff. As integral part of naval science curriculum, provides professional experiences designed to develop leadership potential and orientation for active duty.
