Theory: baroque counterpoint including chorale prelude; two-part invention; exposition and first modulation of three-part invention; canonic principles; analysis of inventions, canons, and fugues. Musicianship: sight-singing of extended chromatic melodies; advanced harmonic dictation (diatonic and chromatic); keyboard harmonization of modulating melodies; elementary score reading.
