Course 198A is requisite to 198B, which is requisite to 198C. Limited to junior/senior microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics honors program students. Directed individual research for departmental honors; students must have faculty sponsor. Progress report must be submitted to faculty sponsor at end of each of first two terms, with honors thesis submitted at end of final term. Maximum of 8 units may be applied toward major, with balance applied toward BS degree requirements. Individual contract required.
