Seminar: Decisions, Operations, and Technology Management Systems

Seminar, 90 minutes. Designed for PhD students. Development of critical research skills. Topics include finding research questions, positioning contributions, writing papers, giving presentations, and the peer review process. Study of canonical examples and discussion with faculty in a supportive and experimental environment. Students also attend research seminars and meet with guest speakers. Required of all PhD students in decisions, operations, and technology management. May be repeated for credit.
