Urban Economics Transportation and Land Use

Limited to Real Estate minors. Focus on the interaction between land use, transportation, and urban economics in metropolitan areas in the context of the political, institutional, and financial realities of implementing local public policy, technology, and behavioral solutions. Students gain a foundational understanding of the major drivers, patterns, and trends of contemporary metropolitan growth; conceptual and analytical models of urban development and employment access; and the land use regulations employed by public agencies.
