MCD BIO 145Appreciation and Critical Review of Biomedical Research
Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology · 4 units · Undergraduate upper division (100-199)
Designed to offer students perspectives on how to appreciate independent research they are conducting in faculty mentor’s laboratory, and allow them to gain wider understanding of molecular, cell, and developmental biology. Through free-form Socratic learning method, class participation and interaction with classmates is encouraged, while students gain understanding of process and value of peer evaluation, and improved verbal and written presentation skills.
