Mathematics and Pedagogy for Teaching Secondary School Mathematics

Development of the domains of mathematical knowledge for teaching high school mathematics including common, specialized, and horizon content knowledge as well as relationships between this knowledge and students, teaching, and curriculum. Focus on topics in single variable calculus including deriving and applying results related to limits, difference quotients, derivatives, Riemann sums, and integrals. Focus on topics in statistics including analysis of categorical and quantitative variables; inference from sample surveys, experiments, and observational studies; and calculating expected values to solve problems.
