Historical and social context of farmworker organizing, including its multiracial origins and its influence on fight for equality of working women. Specific focus on organizing of United Farm Workers and Farm Laborers Organizing Committee, and their relationship to AFL-CIO, other unions, and their influence on Chicano Movement.
