(Same as African American Studies CM166B.) Limited to students in Community Scholars program. Second course in two-quarter participatory action research program that partners students with community-based change agents. Study involves project-based learning in groups made up of undergraduate and graduate students and community members. Students contribute to development of collective policy platform that centers recommendations of formerly employed and formerly incarcerated people in broader community vision for transitioning to decarcerated workforce.
