Intermediate Latin: Grammar and Readings

Formal review of Latin grammar and syntax and development of skills in reading continuous passages of original Latin prose and/or poetry texts, with attention to literary and cultural background. Course is requisite to advanced reading courses. May be repeated for credit twice with change of assigned readings and with consent of instructor.
