Limited to Genetic Counseling Students. First fieldwork rotation to establish basic skills in genetic counseling. Students are supervised by certified genetic counselors and medical geneticists. In group discussion setting, students present cases along with relevant psychosocial, ethical, and professional issues to engage in active reflection of clinical supervision experiences, understand dynamics and responsibilities of supervisor/supervisee relationship, and identify personal growth opportunities and limitations in scope of patient practice.
