Tracing of writing and rewriting of traditional story types, specifically the adventure story as represented by Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe and its remanifestations in Coetzee’s Foe and the fairy tale as represented by Cinderella and its various cross-cultural remanifestations. Satisfies Writing II requirement.
