Designed for juniors/seniors. Study of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe history through the medium of film. Students learn how to discuss and write about history through film, while embracing visual historical methods and vocabularies. Introduction to the region in the 20th century. Countries or subregions of focus may include Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Hungary, the Baltic states, and the Balkans.
