In-depth exploration of development of tropical climate, with special reference to hurricanes, El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO), and monsoons. Examination of human interaction with tropical climate processes and human-induced climate change in tropics. Use of climatological information to foster sound environmental management of climate-related resources in tropics.
