Masculinity as theorized by feminists and shaped by race, class, age, and nation. Topics include feminist theories of masculinity, male body, childhood and adolescent socialization, sport, male violence, homophobia, black masculinity, globalization and masculinity, and men’s movements in 1970s and beyond. Special emphasis on social sciences approaches and methodologies.
