Stop Motion Fundamentals Workshop
Film and Television · 2 to 4 units · Undergraduate upper division (100-199)
Exercises designed to teach technical skills, processes, and principles of motion and timing. Use of range of materials, building animation performances in split-second increments arranged to give illusion of movement. Exploration of early history of stop motion. Collaborative creation of stop-motion film with each student directing and animating portion of film. Offered in summer only.
