Examination of one-hour drama and dramedy formats, covering style, content, and structural analysis. Review of principles behind network needs and how pilots are chosen across broadcast, cable and digital platforms. Students write series outline and first draft of original pilot series. Open to works in progress and rewrites. Offered summer only.
