Introduction to Armenian Music

(Same as Armenian M134 and Music M134.) Some amount of formal music study and experience as vocalist or instrumentalist desirable but not essential. Introduction to history, tradition, and scope of music of Armenia. Focus on number of different genres and approaches, and interactions between music and culture, society, and history.
